Welcome to the University of Toledo's Wilderness Expeditions Club
The Wilderness Expeditions Club (WEX as it is more commonly known) is a student lead, University funded, outdoors club that participates in various events and activities related to the great outdoors. Begun in the Mid 1990's, WEX members and alumni have traveled from El Pico de Orizaba, Mexico to Mt. Rainer in Washington, to New Hampshire, Kentucky, Alabama, and too many more places to name! During these , shall we say, expeditions, WEX participants have done it all, from Rock Climbing to Skiing, White Water Rafting to Horseback Riding. If it can be done outdoors, WEX can and will do it!
